IDS have worked with EJBC for several years. Emma visits us at our office in Newbury on a monthly basis and ensures that we have the right information in the right place by putting the final touches to our monthly management accounts, (we do the routine work but Emma does the clever stuff and corrects the occasional !! errors we make). Emma looks after the reconciliation of our various bank accounts and keeps us on the straight and narrow when it comes to foreign currency transactions as well as running the quarterly vat return.
Our accounts are essential to our business and we rely on them for making all decisions and Emma helps us to ensure the accounts are accurate in this fast growing environment where we are focussed on other aspects of the company. The regular visits means we work to pre determined deadlines which have to be kept.
EJBC also prepare our staff salaries, our Director’s personal tax returns, the company year end statutory accounts and tax return. If and when we have any queries, be they with Sage, or on more complex matters, Emma and her colleagues are just a phone call or e-mail away.
Fees are not an issue, as we have always agreed them in advance. This helps us budget for the monthly accounting / annual cost. As the service we pay for covers everything we should need from an accountant, we know we can ask the questions we need to ask when we need to ask them.
We expect IDS to grow at a significant rate over the next few years. We are confident that by having EJBC working with us, we can concentrate on what we are good at and EJBC will mop up those things that need to be done on a regular basis both for internal and regulatory purposes.
